Children in our program are welcome to participate in the Salem Summer Meals Program.  Each day, lunches will be dropped off at Forest River free of charge to children.

This summer, the city pool will be closed for renovations.  Therefore, we will be adding additional water play games to our schedule, as well as visits to the Splash Pad at the Mary Jane Lee Playground. The city will also be staffing some local beaches with lifeguards this summer, so we will be scheduling some beach trips.  In order for your child to swim at the beach with us, they must pass a swim test or they will need to wear a life jacket.  Swim tests will be arranged through the Salem YMCA and parents will be notified of when the testing will be done.
